The board of directors is responsible for:

A majority of directors are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, ensuring decisions remain grounded in culture, community knowledge, and lived experience.
Governance is informed by principles of self-determination and collectivism, where leadership is accountable to community and decisions are made with consideration of long-term cultural, social, and community impact.
Annual General Meetings are held each year, providing members with the opportunity to:
review reports and financial performance
elect directors
participate in decision-making
propose and vote on resolutions

Membership includes:
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 15 and over
Residents of the Melton and Moorabool regions
Non-Indigenous members, where Aboriginal membership remains the majority
Members play an active role in governance and leadership. They can:
attend and vote at meetings
nominate for board positions
contribute to decision-making
shape the direction of the corporation
